Clinical Dietitian Specialist (Inpatient Medical/Surgical)

Description The position will work in the Inpatient Medical/Surgical Area and will place Small Bore Feeding Tubes. A Brief Overview The Clinical Dietitian Specialist will display effective nutrition care and critical thinking skills to complex cases. Will display strong communication and in-depth education skillset in daily practice. Will be involved in projects that are clinically relevant to nutrition care. What You Will Do Delivering Effective Nutrition Care (Develops & implements decision making tools for potential complex cases in area of specialty) Critical Thinking & Decision Making (Demonstrates proficiency in professional judgment and strategic thinking in practice) Communication & Education (Provides education to staff, interns & other health care professionals in the hospital in area of expertise) Leadership (Leads in updating & development of policies & procedures & SOP) Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
