POSITION SUMMARY:

The Order Fulfillment Technician is responsible for accurately preparing, packaging, labeling, staging, and documenting medicinal cannabis products for customer and dispensary orders in accordance with Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA) regulations, METRC requirements, company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting efficient order fulfillment operations.

WORK SCHEDULE :

This is a full-time and part-time non-exempt position and may require scheduled weekend or extended hours. Overtime must be pre-approved by your manager. Employees are expected to report to their assigned work area and be ready to work at their designated shift start time in accordance with company attendance policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Arrive prepared and ready to work at the scheduled start time. Accurately fulfill customer and dispensary orders according to order documentation and company procedures. Verify product identity, quantities, weights, labels, and packaging prior to shipment. Ensure all packaging and labeling comply with Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA) regulations and company SOPs. Maintain accurate inventory transactions within METRC and other seed-to-sale inventory systems. Perform inventory verification and immediately report discrepancies to the Packaging Supervisor. Complete all required production, inventory, quality assurance, and waste documentation accurately and timely. Operate packaging and order fulfillment equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with product staging, transfers, and distribution activities. Support delivery preparation and logistics operations assigned. Monitor product quality throughout the fulfillment process and immediately report damaged, mislabeled, or non-conforming products. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas according to established SOPs. Follow all PPE requirements and facility sanitation procedures. Adhere to all Grow West SOPs, OSHA regulations, and workplace safety requirements. Work collaboratively with Packaging, Inventory, Logistics, Cultivation, Harvest, and Compliance teams. Maintain confidentiality regarding company operations, products, and inventory. Other Duties: Complete all required Zywave training courses in a timely manner. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support operational success. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time. While performing the job employee is regularly required to stand or sit for an eight to ten-hour shift. Work may be performed in a closed or locked facility providing safety and security for workers and products in accordance with state laws and regulations. As part of your work at Grow West MD, you may be exposed to environmental conditions inherent to cannabis operations, including, but not limited to, odors and volatile compounds, pollen, plant particles, and other allergens. Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures, use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and needed, report any symptoms or concerns to the manager.
