Job Details: Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Location: Fort Myers, FL Setting: Hospital Pay Range: 2040.28 - 2142.29 Schedule: 01:00 - 02:01 Contract Length: 13 weeks Candidate Type: Traveler Requirements: 2+ years of L&D experience required. Prior travel experience required. BLS, ACLS, & NRP required. AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring class taken and passed required, AWHONN Advanced fetal monitoring class and EFM certification preferred. Need to be able to handle HIGH ACUITY patients. Call required: 12 hours in a 6 week scheduling period. EMR: Epic. Scrub color: Galaxy Blue and/or White. Degree accreditation must be on profile or must have 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to high-acuity labor and delivery patients.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to changes as per AWHONN standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system.
• Float to other units or campuses as needed, functioning as core staff.
