The Registered Nurse, using critical thinking skills, coordinates and provides safe, quality care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Assists in organizing patient care activities as assigned. Responsibilities Assesses physical, psychosocial, educational and growth and development needs of the patient. Develops a written plan of care using assessment data. Implements nursing care plan. Evaluates patient's response to interventions. Demonstrates leadership skills. Assists in organizing Patient Care Activities Qualifications Education Required: Graduate of Registered Nurse Program Experience None License REGISTERED NURSE Certifications BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) NRP (AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS) within 90 days of hire/transfer effective date STABLE PROGRAM (within 365 days of hire/transfer effective date) Organization Description St. Marys Medical Center (SMMC), part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 420-bed acute care hospital in West Palm Beach.
