PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to): Create and maintain an educational environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the academic, social, and emotional development of students; Assess the academic and behavioral needs of students and collect data related to IEP goals; Collaborate with students, parents, and other members of staff to develop IEPs; Implement an instructional program for assigned students according to their lEP through the provision of direct instruction, co-teaching, modifications, and accommodations; Plan and supervise assignments for paraprofessional(s); Act as Case Manager for a group of assigned students and complete required processes and paperwork; Participate in IEP meetings, Manifestation Determinations, Transition Planning, and other meetings as appropriate, including completion of all relevant documentation in a timely and professional manner; Contribute to the MTSS process through consultation.
