Emergency medicine requires strong teamwork, efficient workflows, and consistent supportthe right environment makes that sustainable. At USACS, care teams are fully supported, appropriately staffed, and structured so APPs can focus on patient care without unnecessary administrative burden. Were adding an Emergency Medicine APP (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to our team at Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas in Austin, Texas.

- Academic Emergency Medicine practice environment
- ED Volume: 74,000
- 52-bed Emergency Department
- 24 hours of APP coverage daily
- Eligible employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
- APPs work alongside Emergency Medicine residents and experienced Physician teams
- High-acuity patient population with strong specialty support
- EMR: Epic
What your practice will look like:
Youll work in a collaborative Emergency Department with structured Physician and APP coverage designed to support efficient workflows and team-based care. APPs are integrated members of the emergency medicine team and work closely with Physicians, residents, nursing teams, and hospital leadership to provide high-quality patient care in a high-acuity academic environment.
About the Facility:
Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas is the primary teaching hospital for Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin. The hospital serves as a Level I Trauma Center and provides advanced emergency, surgical, and specialty care services for the Austin region.
