Job Full Description

Hours: Tuesday - Friday; 3:30pm - 12:00am and Saturday 7am - 3:30pm

Pay: $20 - $23

Key Responsibilities:

Use small hand tools to clean up cosmetic issues on parts.
Read and comprehend information on shop job travelers.
Use basic precision measurement tools.
Compare estimate times on job travelers to actual times

Skills & Experience:

Basic math skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
Understands processes used in removing scratches, excess weld material, and burs

Equipment Used:

Demonstrated ability using windows based computers

Physical Requirements:

Sets up jobs as appropriate. Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations

Education:

Educational background in light industrial trades and/or in a post-secondary vocational program is a plus

Qualities Preferred:

Strong written & oral communication skills to support business needs in an English-speaking environment
