What You'll Do

• Provide specialized obstetric care for high-risk pregnancies, including labor and delivery management
• Assist with cesarean sections and obstetric procedures
• Co-manage maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) patients in collaboration with specialists
• Respond to urgent obstetric needs and emergencies on the unit
• Support neonatal care in a Level II nursery setting
• Document patient care using Epic/Excellian and Obix systems
• Participate in coverage for OB patients, including high-acuity cases and unassigned patients as needed

What You Need

• Board-certified Ob/Gyn
• Minnesota license or IMLC certification
• Trauma I or II experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills in high-risk obstetrics
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including 24-hour in-house call or 12-hour shifts

About the Assignment

This ongoing assignment involves providing high-quality obstetric care at a busy hospital with approximately 11-12 deliveries daily. The facility features a Level II nursery, and the OB Hospitalist team collaborates closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists and ICU teams to manage complex cases. The role emphasizes teamwork, emergency preparedness, and delivering expert care to a predominantly high-risk patient population.
