Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This role involves assisting physicians with obtaining digital radiographic images of the heart, peripheral vessels, and other required structures. The position requires technical expertise in cardiac cath procedures, patient care, and equipment operation within a high-volume, advanced cardiac care setting.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Science program or special procedures program; certification in Radiation Therapy or Radiology through ARRT or RCIS certification through CCI; at least 2 years of experience at a large hospital cardiac catheterization laboratory providing STEMI care and complex cardiac procedures including ECMO, Impella, atherectomy, or structural heart interventions.
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Additional Information: Experience with ECMO, Impella, atherectomy procedures, or structural heart interventions is required. The candidate should demonstrate knowledge of hemodynamics, diagnostic, interventional, and peripheral procedures, as well as proficiency in equipment operation, data documentation, and patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures. Responsible for daily room preparation, quality control, inventory management, and maintaining sterile techniques.
