Allied Technician - Respiratory Therapist

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Shift Schedule: 3x12 Hour Nights (6 PM - 6 AM); 36 hours/week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)

Job Description:

This is an urgent need for a Registered Respiratory Therapist with acute care experience. Candidates should be able to start as soon as possible, pending compliance requirements. The therapist will be working primarily with patients in the emergency department and inpatient settings, including transport to tertiary care centers.

Dress Code: Scrubs of any color; closed-toe shoes are required. No denim, perfume, or cologne allowed.

Therapist/Patient Ratio: Typical ratio of 1:5 or 1:6.

Typical Patient Needs: Experience in emergency care, inpatient settings, and patient transport.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of current acute care experience is required.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• Must possess a high degree of proficiency working with ventilators.
• Experience with HHN, BiPAP, and CPAP is required.
• Current active American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• NBRC certification or CRT certification is required.
• Must have New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner Licensure (temporary licenses are accepted). Candidates must be willing to apply for a temporary New Hampshire RCP license at the time of the job offer.
