Community Liaison

Job Summary:

The Community Liaison will play a pivotal role in driving business development and enhancing sales performance by deepening our understanding and growth of sales funnels across various regions in Southern California. This role is responsible for generating and converting referral opportunities from individuals with Long-Term Care insurance and Private Pay funding sources, supporting their successful onboarding with Safe Harbor Home Care. The Community Liaison is also responsible for promoting a strengthened community-based business development strategy aimed at optimizing organic growth within the Veterans Affairs market. Through collaboration with ALF, SNF, Home Health, and Hospice partners, the role will support the identification and engagement of eligible veterans who may benefit from the VA homemaker home health aide program.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities through effective sales funnel management and strategic regional outreach. (build referral flow in Hospitals, SNFs, ALFs, and Physicians' practices)

2. Sales Integration: Coordinate and integrate home health & hospice referrals from our parent company and various partners, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up.

3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral sources to drive business growth and client retention.

4. Community outreach to veteran organizations who might not be aware of how to get set up with VA paid for services; development of strategic partnerships with said organizations to enhance identification of veterans in need of services.

5. Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

6. Reporting: Track and report on sales metrics, performance, and outcomes to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for enhancement.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to align strategies and optimize sales efforts.

8. Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to sales teams and new hires on sales strategies, tools, and best practices.
