Role Overview

You will own full-cycle technical recruiting for Moon - with additional support for a sister company with 80+ employees - at a moment when the company is hiring engineers, product managers, and senior leaders simultaneously. Recruiting capacity directly determines how fast the company can grow this year. You will source, run loops, close, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience - with modern, AI-assisted tooling.

About the role
• You will join as one of the company's first two recruiters, reporting to the VP of People and supporting both organizations, with a full board of open searches spanning VPs, engineering managers, and senior engineers. The roles you close in the coming quarters will shape the company for years.

What you'll do
• Run full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, loop design, references, offers, closing.
• Own senior and specialized searches - 3D graphics engineers, .NET full-stack, product leaders.
• Build pipelines with modern and AI-assisted sourcing; measure and improve every stage.
• Protect candidate experience and interviewer discipline - trained panels, fast turnarounds, honest signals.

Qualifications
• 3+ years of technical recruiting, in-house at a startup or top agency.
• Has personally closed senior engineering and leadership roles.
• Data-driven pipeline management; excellent writing and outreach craft.
• Thrives on volume without sacrificing quality.

The pay range for this role is:

95,000 - 125,000 USD per year (Moon HQ)
