Neurodiagnostic Technologist

Work Location Orange, California Work Shift Day – 12hrs (United States of America) Job Summary Neurodiagnostic Technologists are responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic studies on infants and children, including monitoring equipment calibration and set‑up, and processing documentation to provide accurate information to the physician. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic studies on infants and children. Calibrate and set up monitoring equipment. Process and submit documentation for physician review. Experience Required: None. Preferred: One (1) year of pediatric health care experience. Education Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent and completion of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Program. Preferred: Associate degree. Training Required: None. Preferred: Bilingual in English/ Spanish. Specialized Skills Effective communication of pertinent clinical data with the physician team and leadership. Goal setting and results judgment in accordance with the highest standards, promoting teamwork and exceeding customer expectations. Ability to solve complex patient care and organizational problems and role‑model positive, professional behavior. Licensure Required: Basic Life Support (BLS). Must be board eligible to take Registered EEG Technologist exam and obtain certification within one year of hire.
