By working together as one team, we provide compassionate, high-quality care tailored to the unique needs of every child and family.ResponsibilitiesThe Patient Services Representative (PSR) is an important part of the Chord Specialty Dental Partners team. The PSR will have responsibility for being the first line of customer service for all patients and visitors entering our practices. The position will primarily be responsible for assisting patients and ensuring that patients and their families receive the best possible service.Responsibilities:Calculate and collect co-payments, verify insurance (including Medicare and Medicaid), complete credit card processing, and balance nightly deposits.Schedule/confirm patient appointments and follow up on no-shows or cancellations.Smile and greet patients and families upon arrival and dismissal.Answer telephones and check voicemail.Check patients in/out and verify patient informationAll other tasks as requested by management.QualificationsWhat You Need:High School Diploma generally requiredKnowledge of administrative and clerical proceduresExperience with customer service principles and practicesMust be available to travel to other locations to meet operational needsPreferred, but not required:At least one year of experience working in a dental, medical, or health-care office is preferredKnowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO/Medicare/Medicaid) is helpfulLocation: Philadelphia, PA 19134Compensation: $19 - $21Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm and Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
