Job Title: Carpenter Apprentice

Job Description

This role seeks a skilled carpenter to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials in both commercial and residential settings. You will work efficiently with minimal supervision, follow technical plans and measurements, and consistently adhere to health and safety regulations while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, sketches, and technical documents to fully understand project requirements.
• Take accurate measurements and calculate the size and quantity of materials needed for each project.

Work Environment

You will work in both indoor and outdoor environments and should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions when projects require it. The role involves frequent use of hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment, and requires adherence to strict safety practices on active construction sites. Work areas may include partially finished structures, framing zones, and finished interiors where maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace is essential.

This is a Contract position based out of Wichita, KS.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Wichita,KS.
