Physician Assistant Or Nurse PractitionerWe are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic medical practice specializing in plastic surgery in NYC. The role involves documenting patient visits using EMR systems, coordinating referrals to specialists and imaging centers, and following up with patients regarding their results and care plans. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and care teams to manage medical records and documentation, order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as necessary.ResponsibilitiesDocument patient visits using EMR systems.Coordinate referrals to specialists and imaging centers.Follow up with patients on their results and care plans.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams.Manage medical records and documentation.Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests.Prescribe medications as needed.Essential SkillsNYS PA/NP license1-2 years of experience working in a surgical setting, such as pre or post-operative care in a hospital or plastic surgery environment.Proficiency in using EMR systems.Strong customer service skills.Knowledge of medical terminology.Ability to provide adult care exclusively.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong management skills.Ability to present well, with a patient and calm demeanor.Team-oriented mindset with the capability to work autonomously and alongside a team.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a growing medical practice specializing in plastic surgery, with surgeons focusing on liposculpting and body contouring. The office operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility required to work from 8 AM to 6 PM. It is a dynamic, high-volume environment where clients leave ecstatic and eager to share their experiences. The compensation package reflects a healthy appreciation for work-life balance and offers incentives based on team achievements. The role involves working four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $145000.00 - $160000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
