- Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations, including active interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using advanced equipment.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce digital images of the heart and vascular system as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients for examinations; perform specialized studies in the interventional suite.
- Assist physicians with interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterization, maintaining patient safety and sterility.
- Maintain equipment, document procedures, and provide efficient, high-quality clinical care.
- Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills; provide input into hiring and promotion decisions as needed. Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and current Radiologic Technologist license in the practice state (CA) - Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy - Required
- Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification/permit - Required
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification - Required
- Prevention and Management of Violent Behavior (PVMB) or TEAM/CPI training - Required
- Minimum two years of recent radiology/interventional experience; Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred Benefits and Support
