Position Summary

Coverking is looking for a highly motivated  Customer Service & Sales Specialist who can provide excellent customer service while also converting customer inquiries into sales.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can  listen to customers, understand their needs, solve problems, overcome objections, recommend the right Coverking product, and confidently close the sale.

This is not simply only an order-taking or call-answering position. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive customer experience while identifying opportunities to increase sales, retain customers, and build customer confidence in Coverking products.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, chat, and other communication channels.
• Understand customer concerns regarding vehicle fitment, product selection, materials, installation, shipping, returns, warranty, and orders.
• Provide accurate and professional product information.
• Research customer issues and provide practical solutions.
• Handle difficult or dissatisfied customers professionally and calmly.
• Follow company policies while maintaining a customer-friendly approach.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Warehouse, Shipping, and other departments to resolve customer issues.

Sales & Customer Conversion

• Convert customer inquiries into completed sales.
• Identify the customer's needs rather than simply answering the immediate question.
• Recommend the most appropriate Coverking product based on vehicle, usage, budget, and customer expectations.
• Explain product benefits, quality, fitment, materials, and value.
• Overcome objections related to price, fitment, delivery time, returns, and competing products.
• Turn customer complaints and concerns into opportunities to retain the customer and generate sales.
• Upsell and cross-sell appropriate Coverking products when applicable.
• Follow up with customers who have requested information but have not completed their purchase.
• Encourage customers to purchase with confidence without using high-pressure sales tactics.
• Develop long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, inside sales, retail sales, automotive, or related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable speaking with customers by telephone.
• Ability to persuade and influence customers professionally.
• Sales-oriented mindset with a strong desire to close business.
• Ability to handle objections and difficult conversations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize customer requests.
• Basic computer skills and experience with CRM/order-management systems.
• Automotive aftermarket experience is a strong plus.
• Experience with automotive accessories, vehicle fitment, e-commerce, or automotive parts is highly desirable.
