Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse at a childrens hospital specializing in neonatal critical care located in a pediatric trauma center. The position involves providing advanced neonatal care in a Level IV NICU environment, with responsibilities including clinical procedures, patient assessment, and family support. The role offers the opportunity to work across multiple units within the facility.

Job Details

• Position Description: WNTR BLOCK 1ST TIMERS - LEVEL III NICU RN Req 10933. The RN will position float between units, working nights with self-scheduling for six weekend shifts over a six-week period.
• Required Qualifications: Active BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), at least 2 years of NICU experience, including Level III experience preferred, valid compact state license, and familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have experience with a variety of neonatal clinical procedures such as blood and blood product administration, arterial line management, and ventilator management. Responsibilities include patient assessment, family teaching, and implementation of advanced neonatal interventions.
