We are looking for a Financial and Advisor Specialist to support students in New Gloucester, Maine through a Long-term Contract assignment. In this position, you will serve as a key resource for course planning, financial aid guidance, and program-related questions while delivering a detail-oriented and supportive experience. This opportunity is well suited for individuals who enjoy helping others, communicating clearly, and balancing administrative work with student-facing support.

Responsibilities:
• Guide students through course selection and scheduling to help them stay aligned with their academic goals.
• Respond to questions related to financial aid, payment processes, and account activity with accuracy and care.
• Provide information about academic programs and discuss potential career pathways connected to available offerings.
• Support day-to-day advising operations by handling student inquiries over the phone and through other communication channels.
• Assist with account setup, payment intake, and related administrative tasks to maintain organized and accurate records.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service while helping students navigate processes and resolve concerns.
• Collaborate with the advising team to ensure students receive timely, consistent, and helpful support.

• Associate's degree required.

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a similar student-facing support role.

• Working knowledge of student financial aid processes or the ability to learn them quickly.

• Strong verbal communication skills with a courteous and detail-oriented phone presence.

• Ability to manage administrative details accurately, including account-related and payment-related tasks.

• Comfortable working on-site in an office environment.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to assist multiple students and priorities throughout the day.
