Food Service Specialist I Agency: Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) Location: Oklahoma Forensic Center, Vinita, OK Job Type: Full time, Regular Hourly Pay: $14.66 per hour (shift differentials apply) Job Description The Food Service department at the Oklahoma Forensic Center is hiring Food Service Specialists for an inpatient behavioral health facility. Responsibilities include handling, preparing, cooking, and serving food for regular, modified, and special diets. Specialists are also responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary work, preparation, and serving areas. Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and serve food for regular, modified, and special diets. Valid driver’s license and willingness to fulfill job-related travel normally associated with this position (conditional offer). Physical ability to occasionally lift or carry 50 pounds; 20 pounds frequently and to push and pull a maximum force of 50 pounds. Work Hours Primary working hours are 5:00am–1:30pm and 11:00am–7:30pm. The agency requires 24‑hour coverage. Employees may be required to work weekends and overtime.
