Equipment Maintenance Technician

Are you a seasoned multi-craft technician looking to lead from the front? We are seeking someone to drive operational reliability, troubleshoot complex industrial machinery, and keep our facility running smoothly. In this high-impact position, you will conduct advanced mechanical and electrical repairs, optimize preventive maintenance processes, and mentor junior mechanics and equipment operators.

salary: $58,240 - $62,400 per year
shift: First
work hours: 5 AM - 3:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Advanced Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix complex mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic machinery, including conveyor systems, power distribution, packaging equipment, and electrical panels.

• Safety First: Strict adherence to all OSHA safety codes and internal compliance protocols across every job site task.

• System Diagnostics: Monitor running equipment to pinpoint root causes of mechanical or electrical issues and implement long-term solutions.

• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PM routines on time and accurately track all work orders, repairs, and parts usage in our software systems.

• Operational Routines: Oversee daily startup and shutdown protocols for critical plant machinery.

• Process Improvement: Collaborate with production management to update maintenance procedures, reduce unplanned downtime, and track machine adjustments.

• Mentorship & Training: Provide direct, hands-on technical coaching to Machine Operators and maintenance staff.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
