Earnings: $65,000–$80,000 base + Quarterly Performance Bonus (Target Total Compensation: $80,000–$100,000+)

American Wire Works and Ace Metal Works are growing, family-owned manufacturers serving industrial customers throughout North America. We produce custom wire products, fabricated metal components, and material handling solutions for diverse applications.

This isn’t a routine inside sales or customer service seat—you’ll be the connective tissue between customers and our shop floor, owning the journey from quotation through invoicing while actively developing revenue within existing and dormant accounts.

What You'll Tackle Customer Operations

• Be the primary contact for inquiries and status updates
• Enter and process orders accurately; send order acknowledgements
• Generate invoices after shipment and coordinate shipping docs
• Keep customers informed on delivery and production status
• Align with Production and Purchasing so commitments are met
• Resolve issues by partnering with Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and Accounting

Inside Sales & Business Development

• Follow up on every quote and track outcomes
• Proactively contact existing customers and re-engage dormant accounts
• Introduce new capabilities and identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities
• Book customer meetings and plant visits for our President
• Create new opportunities within active accounts
• Support marketing campaigns and outbound initiatives
• Build relationships with buyers and key stakeholders
• Maintain a consistent outbound communication cadence

Sales Administration

• Prepare quotations for standard products
• Maintain accurate ERP/CRM records and pricing data
• Coordinate customer onboarding and documentation
• Generate sales reports and pipeline updates
• Assist with non-inventory purchasing as needed
• Ensure customer documentation stays current

Commercial Coordination

• Communicate customer priorities to Operations
• Partner with Purchasing on material availability
• Cascade customer commitments to internal teams
• Support new product introductions and customer launches
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate invoicing and paperwork
• Continuously improve the end-to-end customer experience

Is This You? Required

• 3+ years in inside sales, account management, customer support, or sales admin
• Top-tier written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational skills; able to juggle priorities
• Proactive, self-driven, and detail-focused
• A relationship builder who earns long-term trust
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting

Preferred

• Manufacturing/industrial background
• B2B customer support experience
• Hands-on with ERP and CRM systems
• Experience in quoting/estimating
• Industrial distribution exposure
• Support experience for outside sales teams
