Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Technician
Marine Industry Project
Pay: $35/hr
Hours: Approximately 45 Hours Per Week
We are hiring an experienced EHS Technician to support marine and shipyard operations. This role is critical in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment while promoting a strong safety culture.
Responsibilities
Conduct daily safety inspections and audits
Monitor compliance with OSHA and maritime safety regulations
Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
Deliver safety orientations and toolbox talks
Maintain safety documentation and reporting
Ensure proper PPE usage and safety practices are followed
Requirements
Previous EHS, Safety, or Industrial Safety experience
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
Strong communication and documentation skills
Shipyard or marine industry experience preferred
Maritime OSHA 10 Certification Required

$35/hr starting pay
