What You'll Do
Drive Revenue & Growth
- Prospect, negotiate, and close new and repeat catering business
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
- Maximize banquet space utilization for optimal revenue
Own the Client Experience
- Plan, detail, and execute events from start to finish
- Customize proposals, menus, and event setups
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and repeat business
Build Powerful Relationships
- Develop strong connections with clients, vendors, and the local community
- Conduct site tours and outside sales calls
- Represent the hotel at networking events and bridal shows
Strategize & Execute
- Understand market trends and competitor positioning
- Use creative selling techniques to win business
- Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to deliver excellence
What Makes You a Great Fit
✔ 2+ years of hotel catering or related sales experience
✔ Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue goals
✔ Strong negotiation and closing skills
✔ Knowledge of food & beverage, banquet operations, and event planning
✔ Experience with systems like Delphi (preferred)
✔ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
✔ Organized, driven, and able to manage multiple events at once
