Job Title: Regional Practice Manager Location: Barnabas Health Medical Group, 95 OLD SHORT HILLS ROAD, WEST ORANGE, NJ 07052 Department: Operations Management - North Req #: 0000251455 Status: Salaried Shift: Day Pay Range: $125,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year Job Overview The Regional Practice Manager (RPM) reports to a Regional Director and oversees operations of multiple practice locations, ensuring compliance, optimal resource utilization, and a patient‑centered environment. The RPM supervises front desk, medical records, nursing, and ancillary services, supporting providers and staff while maintaining efficiency and compliance with policies, laws, and regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field (Healthcare Administration preferred; experience may substitute). Critical thinking and analytical skills. 3-5 years of experience in group practice management of multiple locations. Effective working knowledge of healthcare financial management, medical practice accounting, third‑party reimbursement, patient flow and facilities management. General knowledge of physician compensation models and contract terminology. Microsoft Office proficiency. Experience working with Surgical and Medical Specialty Practices. Experience working in an academic medical group setting (Preferred). Essential Functions Collaborate with RD to onboard acquired practices, follow up on action items, and communicate findings. Develop, plan, and budget at strategic, tactical, and operational levels for each practice. Review management reporting data, ensure operations are within budget, and identify efficiency improvements. Initiate process improvements and communicate with VP, RD, providers, and staff. Identify operating costs, prepare ROI and justifications, submit to RD and VP, and review monthly budgets for cost‑saving opportunities. Schedule staff across practice locations, establish monthly provider and staff schedules. Track scheduling, revenues, staff competencies, and training, evaluate performance regularly. Communicate and coordinate with HR on payroll, orientation, policies, and employee handbook; oversee payroll. Follow disciplinary process, conduct annual staff evaluations, improve engagement, and hold regular staff meetings. Ensure quality measures implementation, track deficiencies, collaborate with Director of Quality for compliance. Support patient acquisition, identify volume growth opportunities in Surgical and Medical Specialty Practices. Other duties as assigned.
