Oversee team performance, maintain inventory accuracy using ERP (Made2Manage) systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Drives process improvements, optimizes warehouse layout and workflows, and uses data and KPIs to enhance productivity and operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Under minimal supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations across shipping, receiving, finished goods, and stockroom functions to ensure smooth and efficient material flow.Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean practices, optimizing workflows, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).Utilize ERP systems (Made2Manage) and reporting tools to monitor operations, maintain records, and support data-driven decision-making.Enforce and promote quality, safety standards and regulatory compliance by conducting audits, ensuring proper equipment use, and maintaining a safe working environment.Plan and allocate labor resources effectively to meet operational demands and productivity goals.Other duties as needed or assigned.Supervisor ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervises non-exempt employees.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Provides leadership, communicating, and coaching to employees; cultivates a motivated employee environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and business ownership.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; managing cross training matrix and plan.Required SkillsMust have excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Ability to manage and solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized and complex situations.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as productivity, material margins, labor variances and overtime percentages.Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material flow within a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Suite for tracking, reporting, and data management.Must have knowledge to apply complex use of databases/spreadsheets.Ability to complete the planning of workflow and meetings.Must have solid analytical skills and solution-driven thinking. Able to use large amounts of data to make strategic decisions.Ability to apply continuous improvement and lean principles to enhance efficiency and productivity.Experience with KPI tracking, performance metrics, and data analysis to support operational improvementsPreferred SkillsSupply Chain Management certificationForklift Train-the-Trainer certificateEducation RequirementsHigh School Degree or General Education Degree and five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAssociates (A.S) or Bachelors (B.S.) degree in supply chain, business, or related field highly desired.Minimum of five (5) years of warehouse, shipping, receiving and inventory experience, preferably in manufacturing.Minimum of five (5) years of progressive supervisory or leadership experience.Experience managing ERP systems (e.g., Made-2-Manage).Minimum of two (2) years of stand-up and sit-down forklift experience.Physical RequirementsFrequent use of hands for handling equipment, and operating forklifts and vehicles.Ability to perform similar operations and tasks for 6-8 hours.Ability to sit and stand for 6 to 8 hours.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequentlyAbility to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally.Ability to bend and reach for 6 to 8 hours.Working ConditionsWork performed indoors in a temperature controlled environment frequently and outdoors with temperature variations occasionally.Required use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and safety?toed footwear.While performing the duties of this job, will regularly be exposed to moving high-speed machinery and mechanical parts.
