Site Manager

Job Overview The Site Manager will be responsible for directing company programs and implementing company policy to ensure total compliance with contract duties between company and customer. Roles & Responsibilities Plan and develop work schedules to ensure adequate service. Prepare schedules for service personnel and assign personnel to routes. Inspect and evaluate physical condition of the establishment for program compliance (safety, quality, and service). Audit and maintain inventories of supplies and equipment. Investigate new equipment and promote improved methods. Review customer requests for service to ascertain cause, type of malfunction, and address with manager. Implement organization policies and goals. Analyze and facilitate budget requests to identify areas where reductions can be made. Assist in the promotion of services performed to develop new markets, increase market share, and obtain a competitive position. Inspect plant and evaluate use of space and facilities. Assist with plans, budgets, and schedule modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, and contracts. Ensure site meets budget goals on a sustaining basis. Assist in the development of long‑range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements for program or process improvements. Coordinate program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents. Compile data for preparing estimates. Maintain and report on financial aspects such as labor hours, overhead, supplies, expenses, billing, forecasting, and changes. Maintain a safe work environment for self and employees. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations such as FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc. Direct supervisory management engaged in support of facilities programs. Act as liaison among company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors. Maintain contract and contractor status databases. Review all correspondence concerning contractors and respond appropriately. Establish and maintain contact with contractors to ensure smooth contract process. Conduct and attend meetings to communicate top‑down and bottom‑up with customers, clients, and employees. Assist with human resource concerns and issues. Travel may be required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field from a four‑year college or university with 2–5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license may be required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Customer service, problem‑solving, time management, project management, planning, presentation, interviewing, coaching, and training skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills. Bilingual is a plus. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and the public. Experience with supervisory responsibilities: interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, performance evaluations, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Knowledge of ensuring employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements. Physical Demands & Work Environment Responsibilities often require sitting and talking or listening.
