Warehouse AssociateThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. This role ensures accurate inventory management, maintains a safe and organized workspace, and contributes to efficient product flow to meet customer and business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming shipments, verify contents, and inspect for damageAccurately unload and store products in designated warehouse locationsPick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standardsOperate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners (as certified)Maintain accurate inventory records through system updates and cycle countsOrganize and maintain cleanliness of warehouse areasFollow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe work environmentAssist with loading and unloading trucks and ensuring shipments are properly securedTransport merchandise by operating a company vehicle to job sites, vendors, and other designated locations as neededReport discrepancies, damages, or shortages to supervisors promptlyCollaborate with team members to meet productivity and accuracy goalsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious warehouse, logistics, or retail experience is a plusExperience operating a cube truck or similar delivery vehicle is a plusAbility to operate warehouse equipment (training may be provided)Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systemsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to follow instructions and work independently or in a teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, push, and pull items up to 75 lbs (or more, depending on role)Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periodsAbility to work in various warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, etc.)Work EnvironmentFast-paced warehouse settingMay include early morning, evening, weekend, or holiday shiftsExposure to moving equipment and machineryCore CompetenciesReliability and strong work ethicAttention to detailTeamwork and communicationTime management and efficiencySafety awarenessPreferred Skills (Optional)Forklift certificationExperience with warehouse management systems (WMS)DOT medical card with clean driving recordInventory control knowledgePAY RANGE:$18.05 - $26.15CULTURE AND BENEFITS:At Andersen, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do.
