Nurse (RN/LPN) - Extended Care - PRNGlendive Medical Center | Glendive, MT | PRN (As Needed) | Flexible Scheduling RN Starting Wage: $31.63+/hour (based on experience) + PRN DifferentialLPN Starting Wage: $26.14+/hour (based on experience and internal equity) + PRN Differential Flexible Nursing Schedule. Meaningful Resident Connections.Glendive Medical Center is looking for licensed nurses to support our Extended Care Department on a PRN basis. This position offers scheduling flexibility while providing the opportunity to deliver high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting.As a PRN nurse, you'll become part of a team dedicated to promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life for those we serve. Position ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Provide professional nursing care tailored to individual resident needsEvaluate resident conditions and communicate changes to providers and care team membersAdminister medications, treatments, and other prescribed interventionsAssist with developing, updating, and implementing resident care plansCollaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team membersSupport and mentor nursing assistants and other direct care staffMaintain thorough and accurate clinical documentationPromote a safe environment by following infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standardsLPNs practice under the supervision of an RN  QualificationsRequiredCurrent Montana RN or LPN license, or applicable Compact licenseCurrent BLS certificationStrong assessment, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize responsibilities effectivelyPreferredPrevious experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursingExperience working with electronic medical recordsPRN CommitmentTo remain active in PRN status, team members are expected to:Work a minimum of one shift every three monthsMaintain required licensure and certificationsParticipate in additional shifts as available and mutually agreed upon BenefitsEligible after 30 days:401(k) with employer match Why Choose PRN at GMC?Greater flexibility and work-life balanceOpportunity to maintain and enhance clinical skillsExposure to multiple areas of patient careSupportive team environment focused on collaborationEligibility for retirement and profit-sharing programs About Glendive Medical CenterGlendive Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare close to home.
