Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an impactful role providing Speech-Language Pathology services within a vibrant educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support students’ communication development and academic success through direct intervention and collaboration with dedicated faculty.
Details include four full-time openings, with two positions spanning the entire academic year and two serving as leave coverage (ending November or after the first semester). The school values participation from candidates who are ready to share their expertise onsite and contribute to student growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid state license (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Pennsylvania
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Adaptability for a dynamic caseload
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students with a range of needs
- Conduct student evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain precise documentation of progress and compliance with state/federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Provide consultation and resources to educational staff and families
- Support consistent communication between stakeholders regarding student goals
