Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The availablecaseloads include a 4th/5th grade Special Day Class and a 9th-12th Special Day Class. This variety offers a high-impact,fulfilling professional experience from August 10th, 2026 through June 3rd, 2027.

What you bring:

• Valid California CTC credential with either a Mild to Moderate or Extensive Support Needs certification
• Previous experience in a Special Education teaching capacity, ideally within public schools
• Proven ability to develop and implement IEPs, facilitate small group instruction, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom culture
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving classroom and program needs

What you’ll do:

• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to students’ diverse learning profiles
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking in compliance with district policies
• Collaborate with aides, specialists, and families to outline and achieve student goals
• Employ individualized strategies to ensure all learners’ success
• Participate in all required school meetings and professional development
