The Registered Nurse NICU cares for newborn babies who are delivered pre-term or at-term newborns who experience complications at the time of birth. The Registered Nurse NICU provides intensive around-the-clock care, including both medical needs and basic daily care activities under the supervision and direction of the Physician.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices required
• One year NICU experience required
• NRP card per contract requirement
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
