Job Title

RN – OR Circulator (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | 13 Weeks | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating RN duties within a surgical services department consisting of 3 OR rooms, 3 PACU beds, and 5 Pre-Op bays
• Provide care across all patient age groups, maintaining a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
• Float to Pre-Op as needed to support unit staffing requirements
• Fulfill call requirements as needed, with an expected average of 10–11 days of call per month (up to 15–16 days if only two staff are available)
• Work every other weekend and/or as needed per unit scheduling
• Document patient care accurately using CQI and Medhost EHR systems

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in the state of New Mexico
• Minimum 2 years of OR/surgical services experience
• Required certifications at time of submission: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and HWC — certifications are not available on site
• All clinical staff assigned in New Mexico must be fingerprinted prior to hire; travelers may begin on a 14-day supervised waiver while results are being processed
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, though not required
• Professional demeanor with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced surgical environment
• Familiarity with CQI and/or Medhost electronic health record systems
