AWS Data Engineer

AWS Data EngineerImmediate need for a talented AWS Data Engineer. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA (Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Skills- AWS, Python, SAP Hana.Extensive experience coding data pipelines in the AWS ecosystem including deep knowledge of data lake concepts, S3, Glue (catalog and ETL), Lambda functions, and Redshift modeling.Experience developing and maintaining CDK code and Practice good software engineering techniques, e.g., Git, scrum, branching, code reviews, spikes.Solid understanding of writing test cases to ensure data quality, reliability, and high level of confidence.Knowledge of working with queries/applications, including performance tuning, utilizing indexes, and materialized views.Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills in an agile DataOps environment.Proficiency in SQL (CTE, window functions, temporal data).Proficiency in Python and data-focused packages, e.g., Pandas, Numpy.Our client is a leading Airlines Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
