Investment Accounting Manager

Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Investment Accounting Manager to join our fast-paced Accounting + Finance industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with a strong background in insurance investment accounting and Singularity investment platform. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience who can effectively own reporting, be an internal expert on Singularity, and ensure all investments are correctly documented. Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 per year Responsibilities Overseeing all aspects of insurance investment accounting and reinsurance accounting. Utilizing the Singularity investment platform to manage and monitor investments. Serving as the internal expert on Singularity, providing guidance and support to other team members. Ensuring all investment documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with industry standards and regulations. Owning reporting responsibilities, including the preparation, review, and presentation of financial statements and reports. Collaborating with other teams to develop and implement investment strategies. Continually evaluating current accounting practices and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and implement necessary changes. Providing leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience in investment accounting, preferably within the insurance industry. Extensive experience with the Singularity investment platform. Proven ability to own reporting and ensure all investment documentation is accurate and compliant. In-depth knowledge of reinsurance accounting. Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to guide and motivate a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is preferred.
