Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant , you will play an important role in supporting the financial health and reporting accuracy of Pinstripes , a premier dining and entertainment destination known for elevated Italian-American cuisine, bowling, bocce, and curated social experiences. This position is part of our shared services team and will primarily support Pinstripes locations while collaborating across our brands, including Punch Bowl Social, Voicebox Karaoke, and Sweet Tooth Hotel. This is a Denver-based hybrid position requiring regular in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. What You’ll Do Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations Support accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed Analyze financial data and assist in preparing financial reports and variance analysis Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules Collaborate with operations and department leaders to ensure accurate coding and reporting Support audit preparation and documentation requests Contribute to process improvements, special projects, and ad-hoc reporting Support the Controller and Accounting Manager with the annual audit Special projects as assigned by the Controller or the Accounting Manager Manage sales tax payments and filings Update daily cash sheets with banking activity What's In It for You Medical, dental, and vision insurance HSA with company contribution FSA options 401(k) Flexible vacation Company-paid short- and long-term disability Voluntary benefits (pet insurance, LifeLock, accident & critical illness) Growth opportunities with new restaurant openings Discounts on food, beverages, and activities Salary Range $65,000 – $75,000 What We’re Looking For 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience (staff level or higher), preferably in multi-unit restaurants Solid working knowledge of GAAP Experience with NetSuite (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Clear and professional communication skills Experience with month-end close and reconciliations Proficiency with accounting software such as NetSuite or similar ERP systems Strong skills in Microsoft Excel High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational abilities Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Requirements Ability to work at a computer for extended periods Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. as needed We look forward to hearing from you!
