Senior Software EngineerOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Transformation & Delivery is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our high-impact team supporting the Zero Process Oracle (ZPO) initiative. This program is focused on streamlining critical business processes across Oracle, and you will build the platforms and tools that make it possible.We need an engineer who can work across the stack—from database to UI—and who brings strong PostgreSQL/SQL experience alongside modern web development skills. You'll support a variety of disciplines as needs evolve, shipping iteratively and adapting quickly. This is a greenfield opportunity to build enterprise-grade applications that will transform how Oracle manages and improves its processes.If you're comfortable with ambiguity, have a bias to ship, and want to deliver visible impact across a global organization—we want to talk to you.Career Level: IC4-IC5ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain applications supporting the ZPO Process Registry and related toolingDesign and implement workflow systems with dynamic scoring, validation, and real-time updatesDevelop responsive dashboards and reporting capabilities for multiple user personas (Process Owners, ZPO Team, Leadership)Write and optimize SQL/PL/SQL including stored procedures, complex queries, and data model designImplement role-based access control and integrate with enterprise identity systems (SSO/MFA)Build automated report generation with export capabilities (PDF, PowerPoint, text)Integrate AI/ML model outputs into dashboards and interfaces (predictions, recommendations, automated insights)Own operational health: monitoring, debugging, and continuous improvementMentor team members and contribute to engineering best practicesBasic QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field5+ years of software development experience with proven delivery of production applicationsStrong PostgreSQL or Oracle Database experience: complex queries, stored procedures, performance optimizationProficiency in modern web development (JavaScript/TypeScript, responsive design, API development)Experience building enterprise applications with role-based securityComfort working across disciplines and adapting to evolving prioritiesAbility to ship iteratively in ambiguous, fast-moving environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Oracle APEX or similar rapid application development platformsFamiliarity with AI/ML integration patternsTrack record in business process improvement or transformation environmentsExperience with data visualization and dashboard designCI/CD and deployment automation experienceRequired SkillsJava Programming LanguageOracle APEXSQLStrategic CommunicationAbout UsOnly Oracle brings together the data, infrastructure, applications, and expertise to power everything from industry innovations to life-saving care.
