About our position
ASI is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the payments and finance experience in iMIS: the systems that let our clients collect dues, donations, registrations, and other transactions reliably and securely. You will take over an active roadmap spanning gateway integrations, compliance, and reconciliation, alongside a broad remit across the wider ASI product suite, and you will partner closely with engineering, finance, compliance, and our payment processing partners. 

The ideal candidate combines strong product judgment, technical curiosity, customer empathy and the business and financial fluency to reason about payments economics. You should be comfortable working directly with AI tools, evaluating model behavior, and turning ideas into working prototypes quickly. . We want a product leader who investigates problems personally, forms strong points of view, prototypes solutions, works hands-on with customers, and remains accountable for the product's actual outcomes. You will also be a public voice for iMIS, presenting conference sessions, webinars, user group meetings, and release demos to internal stakeholders, clients, partners, and prospects. 

What you’ll be doing

• Owning the product strategy and roadmap for iMIS payment processing: card, ACH, digital wallets, alternative payment methods, gateway integrations, and reconciliation workflows. 
• Working alongside the VP of Strategic Partnerships and CPO to define the broader payments strategy for ASI’s core products in order to grow GPV across the platform. 
• Writing clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and evaluation scenarios. 
• Developing and utilizing AI tooling to synthesize customer interviews ,support tickets, usage data, gateway logs, sales feedback, and operational patterns. 
• Building UX prototypes using AI design/ development tools to communicate product vision and gather feedback before committing engineering resources. 
• Defining and monitoring payments health metrics: transaction success rates, chargeback and dispute rates, reconciliation accuracy, and processing costs. 
• Managing relationships with payment gateway and processor partners, including commercial and technical escalations. 
• Partnering with engineering and compliance to maintain PCI-DSS scope and manage audits. 
• Working with Technical Support to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve client issues as needed. 
• Representing iMIS payments to clients, partners, and prospects at conferences, webinars, user group meetings, and release demos. 
• Involvement in product roadmap and specifications for other ASI products and features as needed. 
• Performing other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

What we want you to have

• A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 
• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with B2B or enterprise SaaS products, and a demonstrated record of taking products or major features from discovery through launch to measurable adoption. 
• Experience shaping payments strategy at the platform level, including take rate, GPV growth, and pricing economics, and partnering with business development or partnerships teams to drive it. 
• Meaningful time spent owning a payments, fintech, or billing product, with the breadth to speak credibly about an entire platform. 
• Working knowledge of payment processing fundamentals: gateways, processors, PCI-DSS, ACH and card networks, chargebacks and disputes. 
• Hands-on experience using generative AI tools for meaningful product or operational work. Be prepared to walk us through a prototype you built yourself, an analysis you ran and then verified, a recurring part of your workflow that you automated, and a case where you decided against using AI and why. 
• The ability to translate ambiguous customer problems into clear product decisions, with strong judgment about user experience, tradeoffs, sequencing, and scope. 
• Experience working closely with engineers, designers, customers and partners. 
• Solid interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to present tradeoffs to both engineers and executives. 
• Demonstrated public speaking ability: conference sessions, webinars, user group meetings, or client briefings in front of external audiences. 
• An excellent ability to collaborate with others, both in person and remotely. 
• Hands-on experience with iMIS or a comparable association management system (AMS), non-profit technology, or membership and CRM software preferred

Compensation
The compensation for this position is determined based on a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to an individual’s skill set, experience, training, certifications, education, and geographic location, as well as business needs and internal equity. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000.
