About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Service / Account Manager to serve as a primary point of contact for customers placing custom orders.

This role is responsible for managing customer communication, collecting and confirming order details, coordinating internally with production and purchasing, and helping ensure each custom job is completed according to the customer’s specifications, timeline, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for assigned customers from initial inquiry through order completion.
• Receive, review, and enter customer orders
• Coordinate with production, scheduling and purchasing teams
• Prepare order acknowledgments, status updates, and follow-up communications.
• Maintain accurate customer records, order notes, specifications
• Help resolve customer questions, order changes, delays, complaints, returns, or quality concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Build strong long-term customer relationships by providing responsive service, problem-solving, and clear communication.
• Monitor open orders and proactively communicate updates to customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, account management, inside sales, order entry, or manufacturing support preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret customer specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders, deadlines, and customer priorities at the same time.
• Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, ERP/order-entry systems, and customer databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with lead times, raw materials, and production scheduling.
• Experience communicating with industrial, OEM, distribution, or B2B customers.
• Understanding of quality requirements and documentation for custom manufactured products.

Work Schedule and Location

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Mansfield, Texas. Standard business hours apply, with occasional flexibility needed to support customer priorities and production deadlines.
