Clinic Coordinator - Pediatric Clinical Research Unit

Position Summary Coordinates daily operations of a clinical office, including patient services, staff supervision, and organizational management. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate patient services to provide quality care efficiently and cost‑effectively. Supervise support staff, schedule work assignments, and ensure appropriate coverage. Hire, train, and evaluate staff performance. Maintain established policies, procedures, and quality control through quality assurance and risk management programs. Promote and maintain effective communication and collaboration with departmental administrators, managers, and supervisors. Maintain and monitor all patient accounts; provide reports, analysis, and maintain records as required. Coordinate and maintain equipment and supplies ordering when needed. Assist with clerical tasks as needed, including answering phones, computer entry, copies, and fax material. Promote and support continuous improvement of quality and service to ensure effective clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Perform other duties as assigned. Working Conditions Job Location: Normal office environment. Physical Effort: Typically sitting at a desk or table with repetitive wrist, hand or finger movement. Equipment: Office equipment. Required Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certifications/Professional Licenses: None required. Work Experience: 5 years in a clinical office setting including supervision. Skills: Communication, Customer Service, Interpersonal Communication, Organizing, Patient Services. Salary Grade C08-H: $21.33 - $31.98 per hour. Salary range reflects base salaries for positions in this grade across the University; individual rates are determined by qualifications, performance, equity, market rates, and budget. Pre-Employment Screening All external candidates receiving an offer for employment will be required to submit to pre‑employment screening, including a criminal background check, drug screening, employment and education verification, physical examination, vaccination and/or governmental registry checks as applicable.
