Job Title: Associate Project Manager

Location: Warsaw, IN

Contract: 4 months on W2

Shift Type: Hybrid Shift, 3 days at Office
Payrate: $58 - $65

Job Duties

• Key responsibility is to provide project management support for a subset of the Engineer Services team involved in a site integration project, including coordination of day-to-day activities across functional teams. These teams including Packaging, Labeling, Design Controls, and Biocompatibility.
• Supports the definition of technical projects, including scope, objectives, key activities, required resources, and deliverables.
• Facilitates development of work breakdown structures, master schedules, and resource plans for assigned projects.
• Monitors master project plans and communicates progress, risks, constraints, resource needs, and key decisions to functional leaders and business stakeholders.
• Identifies project risks and supports development of mitigation strategies and contingency plans to protect project timelines, scope, and objectives.
• Provides guidance to teams onboarding new projects into the project-management framework.
• Develops and delivers project presentations and status updates for senior management, as required.
• Communicates project-management principles, plans, expectations, and decisions clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
• Supports education, use, and application-level assistance for project-management tools, including Microsoft Project and Portfolio Navigator, for globally managed projects .

Travel Expectations:

• Up to 25% to the new site to collaborate between the teams.

• Broad knowledge of project-management methodologies, tools, and practices.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate project-management concepts, plans, risks, and status to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with business leaders, functional project leaders, and project teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with sound judgment and a practical understanding of project issues and constraints.
• Demonstrated presentation skills, including the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders through clear, confident communication.
• Collaborative working style with the ability to establish relationships quickly across a broad range of stakeholders, build team commitment, and support achievement of project objectives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related scientific, project management, or business discipline.
• Degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or related engineering disciplines. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
• 3-5 years of full-time engineering experience in regulated medical device industry.
• Experience working with with orthopedic implants, medical software, biomaterials, antimicrobial technologies, wound management, coatings, or local drug delivery is strongly preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, but not required.
