Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg/Telemetry, travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, starting 07/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,067–$2,101 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour rotating nights. Setting: hospital-based acute care.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult Med Surg/Observation Unit patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Monitor patient condition, interpret data, and respond to changes; administer medications and treatments; assist with procedures; manage telemetry as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure safe transitions
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans; contribute to safe discharge planning
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record with accuracy and timeliness
- Participate in 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation; accept on-call shifts as required by staffing needs

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license to practice in Colorado
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted); must be from the current flu season (Oct 1–Apr 1)
- Experience: minimum 2 years of Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience; 3+ years Med Surg RN experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotations and on-call shifts
- Documentation: resume, Nursys license, skills sheet, BLS card, and ACLS card to be submitted with candidacy
