Food Service Substitute

Responsible for assisting with food preparation and serving food; assists with cleaning. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.

Minimum Training or Formal Education: High school graduate

Minimum Experience: Up to one year of previous experience in a related field.

Skill Requirements:

• Computer
• Some knowledge of commercial cooking and baking
• Commercial cooking equipment
• Basic math
• Effective communication

Clearances: Must clear background check through Colorado Department of Human Services in addition to an online Records check and FBI Fingerprint check through Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

Salary: Hourly rate is $18.55 per hour based upon Classified Salary Schedule.

Benefits: This position is part time and not benefit eligible. Sheridan School District No. 2 is a public employer and participates in the Colorado Public Employees' Retirement Association (PERA). All employees are required by state statute to contribute 11% of salary on a pre-tax basis to PERA and the District contributes 21% in addition to employee contribution.
