Job Opportunity – OB Hospitalist (High-Risk Focus) – Minnesota

Schedule: 24-hour in-house call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM); flexible 12-hour shifts also available based on provider preference

Highlights:

• High-volume obstetrics service with 11-12 deliveries per day and Level II nursery
• Focus on high-risk pregnancies with full Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) support available 24/7; MFM in-house during the day and on-call at night
• Primary responsibility includes covering the MFM service, assisting with cesarean sections, and managing urgent OB needs and emergencies
• Work collaboratively with MFM specialists and ICU teams to co-manage complex cases, including ECMO-level care when needed
• More than 90% of patient population is high-risk; OB Hospitalist also provides coverage for unassigned or undoctored patients
• Supportive team environment with another OB/GYN provider in-house covering clinic services; CNM coverage integrated into workflow
• Epic EMR system (Excellian) and Obix for electronic fetal monitoring; no residents to supervise
• Ongoing locum assignment with flexible scheduling options

Requirements:

• Board Certified OB/GYN
• Minnesota state license highly preferred; if not available, IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) required
• Trauma Level I or II experience required
• BLS certification current
• Clean credentialing file required for emergency temporary privileges consideration
• Open to generalists interested in high-risk obstetrics with full MFM support
