Host/Hostess

The position includes but is not limited to:

• Setting up the dining room and arranging tables spaced correctly to gain the maximum number of guests during one seating.
• Handling and expediting reservations and table allocations.
• Answering phones, taking to-go orders answering questions about the menu, and food allergies but not limited to.
• Coordinating dining room service by spacing out reservations correctly as well as handling walk-in dining service and coordinating the servers' tables by ensuring immaculate guest experience while managing activities of the servers and/or the bus persons for clean tables.
• Working closely with chefs to act as a liaison between the guest and the kitchen.
• Must be able to work at our busiest days and times, weekends and holidays are required. Summer is the busiest season.
• Must be organized, multi-tasking skills, self starter skills, be able to manage a busy wait list and be able to move reservations around to accommodate walk-ins and reservations.
• Must have experience working in a restaurant or hotel setting.
