Fund Accounting Manager - Private Equity/Venture Capital - Hybrid - Boston, MA We are partnering with a rapidly growing organization in the investment management industry to identify an experienced Fund Accounting Manager . This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing team supporting a diverse portfolio of Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, and Real Estate investment funds. This position offers significant client interaction, leadership responsibilities, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent long-term growth potential. Responsibilities Manage the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of investment funds. Oversee quarterly and annual close processes, including NAV calculations and financial statement preparation. Review capital calls, distributions, management fees, carried interest allocations, and waterfall calculations. Prepare and review investor reporting and other client deliverables. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of fund accounting professionals. Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational efficiencies. Assist with special projects and support the continued growth of the business. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of fund accounting experience within Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, Real Estate, or a fund administrator. Previous experience reviewing work and leading or mentoring team members. Strong understanding of investment fund structures, capital activity, and financial reporting. CPA designation is a plus but not required. Excellent communication and client relationship management skills. Why This Opportunity?
