Human Resources Generalist

Human Resources Generalist Fort Myers Broadcasting Company is looking for a versatile HR Generalist to support our growing team. This position will handle day-to-day HR operations, serve as a reliable point of contact for employees and managers, support the HR Team, and help align people practices with company goals. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Core Responsibilities Benefits: Administer employee benefits, assist with open enrollment, maintain vendor relationships, and educate employees on benefit programs and questions. Recruiting Events: Coordinate and participate in job fairs and other recruiting events while representing the Company professionally. Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist the HR team with job postings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, new hire processes, and onboarding tasks. Travel: Coordinate and book Company travel arrangements. HR Records & Compliance: Maintain confidential employee records and HRIS information and support compliance with applicable employment laws and Company policies. Employee Programs: Assist with training, employee engagement, recognition programs, and other HR initiatives. HR Support: Provide day-to-day support to employees, managers, and the HR Team as needed. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Other fields of study may be considered based on relevant experience and qualifications. 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience required, with experience in benefits, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and other general HR functions. Equivalent relevant professional HR experience may be considered in lieu of the degree based on the candidate’s overall qualifications and demonstrated experience. Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Experience with HRIS/HRMS and ATS systems and Microsoft Office. Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
