We are seeking a dedicated registered nurse with experience in cardiovascular intensive care. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. Patient population includes those experiencing STEMI, NSTEMI, and exacerbations of COPD. Other conditions may include sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, and acute respiratory failure. You will also manage patients with A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, and CRRT. The unit consists of 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Equipment utilized includes Baxter pumps and electronic health records. Candidates must possess the ability to float to intermediate care units and hold in the emergency department as needed.
