Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN)
Our organization is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver exceptional nursing care to elderly and disabled individuals within a long-term care environment. This role is essential in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health status.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments effectively.
- Monitor and manage chronic health conditions.
- Respond promptly to any changes in residents' conditions.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in their duties.
- Provide education and guidance to residents and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
- Foster an environment that prioritizes safety, dignity, and comfort for all residents.
- Support restorative care initiatives and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Engage in quality improvement efforts and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Current RN licensure in the state.
- Experience in long-term care or a similar setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to residents.
This position involves working in a long-term care facility, where you will interact closely with residents, families, and staff. The role may require flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of our residents.
